Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical architecture across ServiceNow, Blue Prism, Sisense, the Task/Facade API, Optimus, and associated workstreams.
  • Define integration architecture covering data flows, API contracts, middleware patterns, and event or trigger models.
  • Create and govern solution design documents, integration playbooks, and architectural decision records.
  • Lead technical design sessions with offshore factory leads and external subject-matter experts.
  • Review and approve technical designs before build and enforce architecture standards at design gates.
  • Interface with client architecture and infrastructure teams on platform access, security policy, data handling, and production deployment.
  • Define non-functional requirements including performance, availability, security, data residency, and disaster recovery.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, assess technical debt, and recommend remediation paths.
  • Support environment strategy, release sequencing, rollback design, and go/no-go technical criteria for deployments.
  • Define boundaries and review standards for safe use of AI-generated code.
  • Manage client, Operations, delivery-team, and vendor relationships across geographies and time zones.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in technical architecture or senior engineering, including at least 5 years in systems integration program delivery in financial services or banking.
  • Proven end-to-end solution architecture experience across multiple integrated platforms.
  • Deep expertise in REST and SOAP API design, event-driven architecture, middleware such as MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services, and heterogeneous data flows.
  • Strong ServiceNow platform architecture experience, including Integration Hub, scripted REST APIs, scoped applications, and enterprise-scale performance considerations.
  • Hands-on understanding of RPA architecture, including Blue Prism or equivalent object studio patterns, orchestration, exception handling, and system integration.
  • Experience designing architectures for regulated banking environments, including data classification, security zoning, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to set technical standards for offshore factory teams and effectively review their output.
  • Strong written communication and ability to produce precise architecture documentation for business and technical audiences.
  • Experience with Sisense is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Optimus or similar bot orchestration frameworks in banking is preferred.
  • Experience with KYC, AML, Estates, or client lifecycle programs under EU regulatory frameworks is preferred.
  • Architecture governance experience, such as design authorities, ADR processes, or technical review boards, is preferred.
  • TOGAF, ArchiMate, AWS, or Azure architecture certification is preferred.
  • Experience integrating AI-generated code into enterprise delivery pipelines is preferred.
