Responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical architecture strategy, standards, patterns, and best practices for AI initiatives.
- Evaluate AI technologies, agentic frameworks, automation platforms, and architecture options for business value, risk, feasibility, and total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate engineering, data, product, delivery, and architecture teams across multiple AI workstreams.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, governance forums, design checkpoints, and dependency resolution.
- Prototype, build, deploy, and iterate on AI agents, automations, integrations, and working proofs of concept.
- Own technical quality from solution design through production readiness and monitor scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and security posture.
- Ensure data governance, responsible AI, compliance, and security standards are applied across AI implementations.
- Provide technical escalation support and mentor technical teams, solution architects, architects, and senior engineers.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in software or solution architecture with depth in AI/ML or agentic systems architecture.
- Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions, including LLM-based systems, automation platforms, Agentforce, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, and platform scalability principles.
- Ability to work strategically and hands-on across multiple teams and translate technical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce platform architecture experience is highly valued.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent architecture certification is preferred.
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, AI risk frameworks, multi-org or multi-cloud enterprise environments, and mentoring architects or senior engineers is preferred.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents and practical experience with Gemini, Cursor, Claude, prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and agentic tool-use patterns are preferred.
- Comfort working directly in code or configuration to build and ship solutions rather than only designing and documenting them.
