Responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical architecture strategy for AI initiatives in alignment with business and platform roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, agentic frameworks, and automation platforms and recommend strategic applications.
- Translate business goals into scalable, secure, and maintainable AI architectures.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, governance practices, and design review processes.
- Coordinate engineering, data, product, delivery, and other cross-functional teams across AI workstreams.
- Mentor technical teams and solution architects on AI-first design principles.
- Prototype, build, and deploy agents, automations, integrations, and other working AI solutions.
- Take AI concepts from proof of concept through production readiness while balancing delivery speed and architectural soundness.
- Own technical quality and monitor scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and security posture.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, responsible AI, and security standards.
- Provide technical escalation support for complex AI and architecture issues.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in software or solution architecture with depth in AI/ML or agentic systems architecture.
- Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions, including LLM-based systems, automation platforms, Agentforce, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, and platform scalability principles.
- Ability to operate as a strategic thinker and hands-on technical orchestrator across multiple teams.
- Experience with Salesforce platform architecture is highly valued.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent architecture certification is preferred.
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, AI risk frameworks, mentoring architects and senior engineers, and complex multi-org or multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents in real-world settings is preferred.
- Practical experience with Gemini, Cursor, and Claude for coding, prototyping, or workflow automation is preferred.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and agentic tool-use patterns is preferred.
- Comfort working directly in code or configuration to build and ship solutions is preferred.
