Base Salary

$122k - $146k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical direction for the design, development, testing, and release of mobile applications using Kotlin-first approaches.
  • Build scalable, production-grade Android applications and reusable libraries for fleet-management users.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver responsive, polished, and accessible user experiences.
  • Monitor and improve production app health using crash analytics, performance metrics, and real-world usage insights.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative design discussions.
  • Manage Play Store releases and contribute to scalable architecture and modularization strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, and dependency injection.
  • Strong understanding of modern Android architecture patterns and modularization, including designing and maintaining scalable reusable libraries.
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and real-time communication patterns, including sound API design judgment.
  • Proficiency with unit, integration, and UI testing and advanced debugging practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, and managing Google Play Store releases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership while operating with high trust and ownership.
  • Preferred: experience owning and shipping apps to the Google Play Store.
  • Preferred: familiarity with UIKit, SwiftUI, Swift concurrency, Kotlin Multiplatform, Sentry, PostHog, Apple or Google wallet integrations, NFC, BLE, Cursor, or Claude Code.
