Base Salary
$122k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical direction for Android mobile application design, development, testing, and release using Kotlin-first approaches.
- Collaborate with product and design to deliver responsive, polished, and accessible user experiences.
- Monitor and improve production app health using crash analytics, performance metrics, and usage insights.
- Design and maintain scalable, reusable libraries and modern Android architecture and modularization strategies.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, and design discussions.
- Manage Google Play Store releases and contribute to API and real-time communication design decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, and dependency injection.
- Strong understanding of modern Android architecture patterns, modularization, scalable libraries, RESTful APIs, and real-time communication patterns.
- Proficiency with unit, integration, and UI testing and advanced debugging practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and managing Play Store releases.
- Strong ownership, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred: experience shipping apps to the Google Play Store; familiarity with UIKit, SwiftUI, Concurrency, Kotlin Multiplatform, Sentry, PostHog, wallet integrations, NFC, BLE, Cursor, or Claude Code.
