Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate maintainable software features for Amazon WorkSpaces.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and AWS partners on technical solutions and long-term architecture.
  • Diagnose operational issues and drive permanent improvements to system reliability and performance.
  • Coach engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
  • Evaluate technologies and approaches that improve platform scalability, security, and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience with design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
