Responsibilities
- Own and evolve end-to-end test automation for UI, API, configuration changes, integrations, and critical workflows.
- Design and maintain scalable E2E automation frameworks for multi-tenant and payer-specific workflows.
- Build automated validation for deployment guardrails, release readiness, production change safety, and quality gates.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows in partnership with Platform and DevOps teams.
- Create coverage for authorization flows, partner integrations, file pipelines, feature flags, and configuration-driven behavior.
- Improve test reliability, reduce flakiness, analyze failures and incidents, and prioritize coverage based on real failure patterns.
- Improve test data management and environment stability for reliable automation at scale.
- Mentor engineers on testability, automation practices, and quality-first development.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, SRE, and Security on testability, observability, production readiness, compliance, and deployment safety.
- Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test creation and expand coverage.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in QA automation, SDET, or test engineering roles supporting production systems.
- Strong hands-on experience building UI and API automation frameworks from the ground up and creating repeatable datasets.
- Deep experience with Playwright or Cypress using TypeScript.
- Strong API automation experience with REST-based testing frameworks.
- Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or a similar tool.
- Experience validating cloud-native systems on AWS.
- Comfort working with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Experience testing configuration-driven systems, feature flags, and environment-specific behavior.
- Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
- Ability to partner with platform and infrastructure teams on release pipelines and deployment safety.
- Preferred experience with performance and reliability testing, such as k6, and with healthcare or regulated domains.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana is preferred.
