Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams in end-to-end feature implementation within the navigation organization.
- Design and build new ML and data pipelines while optimizing existing ones.
- Create tools for automated quality assurance and data exploration.
- Leverage geospatial algorithms for pipeline optimization and automated tuning.
- Collaborate with data scientists to enhance models for movement and traffic patterns.
- Mentor colleagues and participate in code and design reviews.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system availability.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of backend and ML experience.
- Extensive experience with Python and distributed processing pipelines.
- Proficiency in cloud and infrastructure services.
- Strong focus on operational excellence and clean code.
- Ability to own technical vision and lead strategy execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams.
