Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver highly performant, reliable, production-grade AI agents.
- Own the agent development lifecycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand business challenges and deploy AI agents across their operations.
- Prototype new agent tools, architectures, self-service capabilities, and platform features with research, product, and platform teams.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale.
- Surface customer needs and help guide the evolution of Sierra’s core AI agent platform.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to ship creative solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional fluency in both German and English.
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred: founder or founding engineer experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred: experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
