Responsibilities
- Build backend systems from the ground up.
- Design backend architecture and system solutions for new products in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Build internal products and integrate with external APIs.
- Help build, expand, test, and release products serving thousands of customers.
- Contribute to backend architecture and technical strategy.
- Use AI coding assistants and AI-assisted development tools while reviewing generated code for quality, security, and correctness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong programming skills with expertise in Python.
- Proven experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or equivalent.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Ability or strong desire to incorporate AI development tools into daily workflows while critically reviewing AI-generated code.
- Independent, proactive working style and strong interpersonal skills.
- A top-tier university degree with a GPA of 90+ or graduation with honors is a strong plus.
- Fintech, billing, or payment systems experience is preferred.
- Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS is preferred.
