Base Salary
$40k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design architecture for new software components and suggest improvements to applications, UI/UX, and the software baseline.
- Develop front-end applications and back-end microservices with on-site and remote engineers.
- Solve technical problems, meet program objectives, and contribute within the team’s software development process.
- Build new UI applications using modern technologies, design patterns, and open-source tools.
- Introduce new approaches to meet customer mission needs and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Entry-level coding experience and knowledge, including experience with REST-based web services.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies, HTML5, CSS, CSS preprocessors, JavaScript build tools, and Java Spring Boot.
- Experience with a Linux environment and Linux shell scripting.
- Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Desired qualifications include familiarity with WebSockets, Node, Cesium, OpenLayers, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, SQL databases, AWS, deployments, DevOps, and Git.
