Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable, and secure production infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
- Lead Kubernetes platform migrations, including ECS to EKS/GKE, and enable microservice architectures across multi-cloud environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Improve observability, performance, cost efficiency, monitoring, logging, and alerting across cloud environments.
- Define SLOs and SLIs, conduct blameless postmortems and root cause analyses, and improve incident response and operational resilience.
- Lead complex technical projects, manage cross-team dependencies, mentor engineers, and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams on infrastructure standards, identity federation, workload identity, secrets management, and container security.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- 3–5 years of production experience with Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, Helm, and related ecosystem tools.
- 3–5 years of experience with AWS and GCP, including multi-cloud infrastructure management.
- 3–5 years of experience using Terraform to manage multi-cloud infrastructure.
- 5+ years of coding experience in Python, Go, or similar languages, with emphasis on automation and tooling.
- Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems, networking, databases, caching systems, observability, and production reliability practices.
- Redis experience is required.
- Experience leading high-impact migration projects, enabling microservice architectures, implementing SLOs/SLIs, and improving operational resilience.
- Strong Linux and security fundamentals, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and experience mentoring peers.
- Prior SaaS or high-scale cloud-native experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
