Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy stateful, multi-step agentic workflows and tool-calling systems.
  • Develop APIs, connectors, and Model Context Protocol integrations connecting AI agents to internal services, databases, and enterprise platforms.
  • Build scalable retrieval pipelines over structured and unstructured data using vector search and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, enterprise architects, and business squads to move prototypes into production.
  • Implement evaluation metrics, automated unit and integration tests, and observability for model performance, latency, cost, and reliability.
  • Deploy and operate AI applications in enterprise environments and contribute to productionization of analytical pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering or data science experience, including 1 to 2 years building with LLMs and agentic architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python, clean code architecture, robust API design, and production enterprise integrations.
  • Practical experience with tool or function calling, agent orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation over enterprise data.
  • Experience deploying applications on a major cloud platform, such as Google Cloud Platform, and working with structured and unstructured databases.
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise AI applications, microservices architecture, enterprise SaaS integrations, Model Context Protocol, agent evaluation frameworks, LLMOps or MLOps, prompt evaluation, trace logging, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: experience collaborating with data science teams, a public GitHub portfolio, or open-source contributions involving agents or LLMs.
  • Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
