Base Salary
$190k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision and scope for future projects while developing and reviewing existing projects.
- Lead end-to-end product development for Viant DSP’s suite of products.
- Own and contribute to major product features and areas.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external customers to understand pain points and identify opportunities.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a user-focused engineering environment.
- Drive initiatives that reduce operational load and create operationally sustainable products.
- Collaborate on specifications and provide production support.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience in the software industry.
- Experience in the AdTech domain or strong proficiency in Go.
- Experience with web services, microservices, or other service-oriented architecture.
- Relational database experience with technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including complex SQL.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: knowledge of Java and Go or other modern programming languages.
- Preferred: knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: experience designing, building, and delivering scalable, operationally sustainable software.
- Preferred: AdTech industry experience and NoSQL experience.
