Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build features and enhancements for global ticketing platforms.
- Lead the architecture, design, evolution, performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the FanSight front-end platform.
- Build scalable customer-facing, internal, and partner applications, including APIs and services for mission-critical products.
- Establish coding, component architecture, code review, testing, and engineering best practices.
- Own FanSight systems and products end to end while balancing hands-on development, planning, and team leadership.
- Define the technology roadmap and capacity plan, make key technical decisions, and assess technical risks.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, task assignment, feasibility assessment, and feedback to engineers.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, architects, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in design and code reviews and work with third parties to deliver integrated customer experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant professional software development experience, including demonstrated technical lead experience.
- Experience leading architecture and development for large-scale consumer-facing web applications with performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and modern UI engineering practices.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and front-end architecture patterns, with proficiency in C#/.NET, Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating distributed, high-throughput, low-latency services and RESTful APIs at scale.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and influence cross-functional partners.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker and Kubernetes; Git and CI/CD; Kafka; TDD or BDD; Elasticsearch or AWS DynamoDB; and ticketing, inventory management, or e-commerce systems.
