Base Salary
$145k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design and development of test plans and protocols for software verification.
- Participate in cross-functional requirements analysis and software risk management activities.
- Translate high-level software requirements into detailed software implementations.
- Write high-quality C++ software for real-time Urology Software Applications.
- Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to design verification activities.
- Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support audit-related activities.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on software-related system validation.
- Mentor other engineers and define best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a STEM discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, or 6 years of professional experience.
- Advanced experience with C++ software development.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles.
- Strong experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Extensive hands-on experience with design verification in medical device development.
- Expert-level knowledge of black- and white-box testing methods.
- Experience with risk management processes and FMEA.
- Strong experience with Python and Linux environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
