Base Salary
$142k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of reliable, high-performance software architectures in Rust.
- Architect and verify system controllers on ARM SoCs and design user-space drivers.
- Implement and optimize critical control loops and precision algorithms for quantum instruments.
- Collaborate with hardware teams for board testing and hardware bring-up.
- Oversee the development of core software libraries for quantum systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in embedded or hardware-adjacent environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident, or eligible refugee/asylee.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a laboratory environment with physical hardware.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
