Responsibilities
- Own the common runtime and libraries for firmware teams.
- Manage the build system and cross-compile toolchain for reproducible builds.
- Design and maintain stable interfaces for evolving platform needs.
- Solve complex problems at the intersection of platform and consumer teams.
- Drive resource trade-offs among competing subsystems.
- Enhance firmware engineering standards through mentoring and code review.
Requirements
- Mastery of embedded C with experience in MCU/RTOS and embedded Linux.
- Experience building platform code that is stable through changes.
- Hands-on experience with an embedded build system like Bazel.
- Proven track record of resolving cross-team or subsystem issues.
- Strong judgment in resource-constrained design decisions.
- Expertise in debugging complex issues.
