Responsibilities
- Co-own and drive Atlas cloud security initiatives.
- Perform and lead security reviews for Atlas features and platform changes.
- Design and review cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Embed security into platforms by implementing policies and automation.
- Identify posture gaps in Atlas environments and drive hardening work.
- Partner with security teams to enhance incident response and threat detection.
- Influence roadmaps by translating security risks into actionable insights.
- Mentor and support other engineers in secure cloud design.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in application, product, and/or cloud security.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud security architecture on major cloud providers.
- Solid security architecture fundamentals and ability to design end-to-end systems.
- Ability to read and reason about code in languages like Go or Java.
- Experience leading security reviews and projects with engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and collaborative working style.
