Responsibilities
- Design and build core security primitives and services for MongoDB Atlas.
- Implement secure infrastructure using Linux security mechanisms and Kubernetes.
- Develop APIs and automation tools for managing security posture at scale.
- Integrate security into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
- Lead complex security projects from design to implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define secure architectures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Golang, or Python.
- Deep understanding of Linux and networking concepts.
- Experience building security-related features or platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud providers and their security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and its security ecosystem.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex security concepts.
