Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, reliable Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Create infrastructure architecture diagrams, technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, scaling, and operational tasks using infrastructure as code and configuration-management tools.
- Design and optimize Azure networking and connectivity, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, load balancers, Application Gateway, private endpoints, VPN, DNS, and firewalls.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes/AKS clusters and containerized workloads, including configuration, networking, scaling, troubleshooting, and application deployment.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement high availability, disaster recovery, performance optimization, capacity planning, monitoring, and observability solutions supporting 99.9%+ uptime.
- Troubleshoot complex Azure, Kubernetes, networking, Linux, Windows, and CI/CD issues and participate in root-cause analysis and production support.
- Establish cloud, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and automation best practices across environments.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, development, security, QA, operations, and product teams, and present weekly technical updates to senior team members and team leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, networking, compute, storage, identity, security, and monitoring.
- Proficiency with Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python for infrastructure automation and scripting.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking and cloud connectivity, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and private endpoints.
- Strong Linux and Windows system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and best-practices experience.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, preferably including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
- Understanding of cloud security, RBAC, managed identity, Key Vault, secrets management, and secure infrastructure practices.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent monitoring and observability platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
