Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test frameworks for satellite communication systems, including end-to-end validation and system integration testing.
- Build scalable automation solutions that reduce manual testing and accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Analyze test results, identify patterns, and improve test coverage and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to coding standards and team best practices.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development life cycle experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees due to export control requirements.
