Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated functional, performance, interoperability, and regression test cases and frameworks for eNB/gNB feature validation
- Analyze UE and eNB/gNB logs to debug and root-cause RAN issues and collaborate with developers on fixes
- Lead UE log collection and field testing supporting eNB/gNB feature development
- Build software tools and database queries to analyze RAN performance and tune eNB/gNB parameters for KPI optimization
- Manage and prioritize network issues and work with developers to resolve them
- Troubleshoot and maintain RAN lab infrastructure with partner teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
- Experience with RAN parameter configuration, optimization, and performance analysis
- Experience using Python for test automation and data analysis, Linux, and Git repositories
- Experience developing, executing, and managing LTE/5G-NR test cases, including test planning and results tracking
- At least 2 years of experience with eNB/gNB and/or modem validation is preferred
- At least 2 years of lab and/or field experience in new product introduction or product certification is preferred
- Strong understanding of LTE and 5G-NR protocols, including hands-on debugging at the PHY, MAC, and RRC layers, is preferred
- Experience with UE log analysis and QXDM/XCAL is preferred
- Experience with RAN lab equipment, testbed setup, and RF troubleshooting is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of 3GPP specifications and R17+ RAN features is preferred
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, analytical, and engineering skills
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR citizenship, residency, refugee, asylee, or authorization requirements
