Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Plan and influence the lifecycle of new hardware platforms from design and bring-up through deployment, upgrades, manufacturing release, and fleet-level reliability.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain systems software components in C/C++, Python, Golang, and Rust.
- Debug complex hardware and firmware issues across x86, PCIe, NVMe, networking, CPUs, chipsets, and peripheral components using lab tools and kernel/driver traces.
- Design and improve remote server management capabilities and Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability features.
- Collaborate with vendors, hardware engineers, system architects, and operating-system developers to define requirements, review designs, and deliver integrated hardware-software platforms.
Requirements
- Preferred B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, including object-oriented design and C++11 or later, plus strong Python skills for build/test automation and lab tooling.
- Hands-on experience with hardware platforms, including requirements feedback, bring-up, system-level debugging, customer delivery, and support.
- Experience with most or all of CPU architectures, BMC, BIOS, PCIe, I2C, SMBUS, and PMBUS variants.
- Strong Linux skills involving kernel logs, drivers, bootloaders, and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and operating-system boundaries.
- Strong interest in CPU architecture and data-center hardware, along with effective verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Golang and Rust is desirable.
- Prior experience shipping or supporting enterprise-class x86 appliances, BMC firmware, OpenBMC, Redfish, IPMI, or BIOS/UEFI development and debugging is beneficial.
