Responsibilities
- Lead technical initiatives within the team and support cross-team engineering efforts.
- Design and implement architectural solutions while remaining hands-on through delivery.
- Ensure code quality, engineering best practices, and modern software delivery standards.
- Identify technical risks and optimization opportunities and recommend effective solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers and contribute to technical reviews, hiring, and promotion processes.
- Drive knowledge sharing through Communities of Practice and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, SQL, AWS, scalable microservices and event-driven architectures, asynchronous communication, and message queues.
- Solid understanding of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices, including experience using or adopting AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to independently solve complex and ambiguous technical challenges and select or adapt appropriate solutions.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers, with exposure to technical interviews, promotion reviews, or other engineering talent processes.
- Self-driven and proactive with strong judgment, ownership, and a record of contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives such as Communities of Practice or tech talks.
