Base Salary
$141k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality web or mobile software across requirements, design, code, and documentation.
- Spend approximately 80–95% of the role on hands-on coding.
- Participate in peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code.
- Resolve defects and bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional Intuit groups to deliver commitments.
- Contribute to team success, positive team dynamics, and customer-focused technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- Solid understanding and practical application of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or C++.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle, web services such as REST or SOAP, and unit testing.
- Test-driven development experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, partnership, ownership, independent decision-making, and delivery skills.
- Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.
Benefits
- Expected base pay range of $140,500–$190,000 for Mountain View.
- Position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits under applicable plans and programs.
- Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
