Responsibilities
- Design and implement REST, SOAP, and Pub/Sub API integrations between Salesforce, ERPs, and asset-management systems.
- Develop event-driven architectures using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Apex Triggers for real-time Field Service data.
- Build high-volume asset-data ingestion and automated Asset Service Lifecycle Management workflows.
- Implement Queueable, Batch, and Future Apex for asynchronous processing and governor-limit management.
- Configure OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Named Credentials for secure authentication and encrypted integrations.
- Create custom logging, automated retry logic, self-healing integration frameworks, and real-time failure alerting.
- Optimize SOQL, SOSL, and API performance for low-latency external-system calls.
Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech, or MCA in a relevant technical discipline.
- Relevant Salesforce development experience with a strong focus on Field Service.
- Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce development tools.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce FSL architecture, data models, and functionality.
- Experience customizing the FSL mobile application and its offline capabilities.
- Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs and Salesforce integrations with external systems.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Field Service Lightning Consultant are highly desirable.
- Experience with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, Apex Unit Tests, or Jest is preferred.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 certification is listed.
