Base Salary

$113k - $257k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve architectures for scalable agent orchestration, physics-informed analytics, and distributed mission systems.
  • Create and maintain architecture products, interface specifications, and system design documentation.
  • Translate mission and stakeholder needs into system requirements and architecture direction.
  • Guide engineering teams through design decisions, code reviews, and implementation.
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs for real-time, event-driven, streaming, and multi-source data integration systems.
  • Mentor engineering teams and shape technical direction across multidisciplinary groups.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, or integrating software systems, including leading architecture efforts for distributed or mission-focused platforms.
  • Experience with Java, C++, or Python and secure coding and integration practices.
  • Experience with real-time or event-driven data processing, streaming, or multi-source data integration patterns.
  • Experience guiding engineering teams in Agile development environments.
  • TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred experience includes agent-based or distributed decision systems, physics-informed analytics, signal processing, multi-INT data fusion, streaming frameworks, secure cloud environments, containerized workloads, infrastructure automation, and AI-assisted mission capabilities.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
