Responsibilities
- Develop software for rail-grade passenger information devices, primarily using C++.
- Configure, diagnose, and tune performance on Linux-based systems.
- Design software solutions for diverse devices and hardware platforms.
- Translate requirements into clear, scalable, and maintainable software concepts.
- Collaborate with system engineering, hardware, and test teams.
- Contribute to customer projects for major suppliers in the global rail industry.
- Support long-term reliability and performance in demanding rail environments.
- Use AI-supported tools to improve development efficiency and software quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field; an electrotechnical background is a plus.
- Knowledge of software architecture concepts and design patterns for robust, maintainable, and scalable systems.
- Strong general programming skills; C++ experience is a plus.
- Solid Linux experience in system- or device-oriented environments.
- Strong interest in understanding systems end to end, including software-hardware interaction.
- Curious and proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- C1-level English proficiency.
