Responsibilities
- Define AI architecture, frameworks, and strategies for organizational needs.
- Evaluate and select AI tools, platforms, and frameworks for innovative solutions.
- Supervise or contribute to the development, training, and optimization of large and small language models.
- Design scalable, secure, maintainable AI solutions and integrate them with existing business processes.
- Architect and deploy AI solutions using on-premise and cloud technologies, including Azure PaaS and SaaS applications.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and milestones for AI initiatives.
- Manage project activities, risks, mitigation strategies, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with business units to determine ROI and define project KPIs.
- Coordinate work among AI research teams, data scientists, engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and onsite/offshore teams.
- Promote responsible AI use and ensure adherence to privacy regulations, industry standards, ethical guidelines, and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in AI projects, data science, or a related field.
- Expertise in AI and GenAI technologies, supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python or .Net.
- Strong understanding of Azure, GCP, APIs, microservices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.
- Knowledge of Hadoop and Apache Spark for big data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Ollama, and Databricks.
- Experience managing technical projects in AI, machine learning, or data-driven technologies.
- Experience architecting AI solutions using on-premise and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Agile project-management tools such as Jira and Trello.
- Knowledge of AI ethics and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
