Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable services supporting payment gateways, transaction processing, and financial workflows.
- Build secure and resilient integrations with third-party payment providers and internal platforms.
- Implement APIs, event-driven services, and microservices focused on performance, reliability, and security.
- Write tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and technical mentorship.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, developer tooling, and payment workflow performance.
- Participate in incident management, production support, root cause analysis, and on-call activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP 8.3, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with gRPC using Spiral RoadRunner, REST APIs, webhooks, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Firestore, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Strong database, caching, and messaging experience with Firestore, PostgreSQL, Redis, Orleans, GCP Pub/Sub, and Node-RED.
- Familiarity with Elastic APM, the ELK Stack, GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 controls and secure coding principles.
- Preferred experience includes payment systems, transaction processing, fintech integrations, Jira, cross-tool automation, PCI-DSS, tokenization, 3D Secure, incident response, on-call rotations, and production troubleshooting.
