Responsibilities
- Design and operate backend services and APIs for data ingestion and model output.
- Build and maintain integration layers for customer systems using medical communication protocols.
- Design secure cloud networking for customer onboarding and work with IT teams.
- Manage production data pipelines and storage for large volumes of imaging data.
- Implement CI/CD and deployment automation for efficient shipping.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in systems handling PHI with appropriate security measures.
- Support ML infrastructure and build model inference pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven delivery track record.
- Proficiency in a backend language such as Go, Python, or Java, and experience with AWS.
- Strong background in designing and building reliable backend infrastructure and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with schema design and data modeling.
- Experience integrating with external systems and understanding networking/security concerns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
