Base Salary
$269k - $352k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve and support the internal developer platform and its associated applications.
- Build and maintain shared tooling, templates, and internal libraries that accelerate development.
- Support observability, monitoring, and alerting for production systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Cybersecurity team on developer workflows, security, and compliance requirements.
- Write and maintain developer documentation, onboarding guides, and runbooks.
- Ship iterative improvements based on user feedback and own projects and services through development and production support.
- Write clear, maintainable code and collaborate with engineering and other firm-wide teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python 3, Rust, or similar backend languages and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience defining and shipping developer platforms or internal tooling that improved engineering velocity.
- Experience deploying services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Exposure to GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD systems.
- Experience with production SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; Elasticsearch or other NoSQL experience is a plus.
- Terraform, Pulumi, or similar infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical fundamentals, collaboration skills, empathy, and an ability to work in environments emphasizing rapid iteration, code quality, and operational excellence.
