Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customer-facing user interface features within product teams.
- Translate product requirements, UX designs, and technical specifications into performant, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
- Build and maintain micro-frontend-based UI implementations.
- Implement accessible UI features aligned with WCAG standards.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient TypeScript code.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Integrate UI components with backend services through REST APIs.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers on requirements, feasibility, usability, and technical approach.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and iterative product delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects across development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to build, deployment, and release processes through CI/CD pipelines using GitHub-based workflows.
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and team processes.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required.
- Eight or more years of application development experience is stated as an educational and professional qualification.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI development.
- Advanced experience with React, including hooks and modern state management patterns.
- Experience translating design systems and UX artifacts into production-ready UI implementations.
- Experience implementing accessible UI components aligned with WCAG standards.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, such as Cypress.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of performance optimization and web application security best practices.
- Experience working within agile product teams and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
- Ability to review product requirements, technical designs, and UX specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design.
