Responsibilities
- Build state-of-the-art integrations to expand the network of connected carriers and customers.
- Manage integrations through their life cycle.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the supply chain visibility platform.
- Build systems in a multi-cloud environment, primarily using AWS and GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems.
- Share ownership of all facets of software delivery, including development, operations, and testing.
- Assume on-call responsibilities for systems built and owned by the team.
- Invest in tools, monitoring, and automation to enhance the on-call experience.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional experience building large scale and real-time cloud systems.
- Strong programming and debugging skills, with proficiency in Java.
- Experience in building systems in a multi-cloud environment.
- Experience creating and working with scalable Java-based micro-services.
- Familiarity with databases, preferably Postgres or other SQL-based DB.
- Experience with event stores and stream-processing in Kafka or Kinesis.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
