Lead Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Lead a delivery pod and design, build, deploy, validate, and monitor agentic AI solutions in enterprise customer environments.
- Design AI agent intelligence, prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Oversee agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Lead Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products from concept to deployable solutions in days.
- Partner with customers, partners, Deployment Strategists, product teams, and customer architects to deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, surface platform gaps and edge cases, and enable customer and partner teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with multiple production systems.
- Extensive customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least two of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Deep hands-on experience with Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
- Expert-level understanding of data modelling, APIs, integration patterns, and technical conversations with customer architects and executives.
- Fluency in English and at least one of German or French, spoken and written.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist, or Architect-level certifications.
- Preferred experience includes LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, and headless deployments.
