Lead Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Lead the design, build, deployment, validation, and observability of agentic AI solutions in enterprise customer environments.
- Design AI agent intelligence, prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Oversee agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting for deployment health and business outcomes.
- Lead PoCs and MVPs from concept to deployable solutions while co-building with customers and partners.
- Lead a delivery pod, mentor junior engineers, enable customer and partner teams, and surface platform gaps and field insights to product teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with multiple production systems.
- Extensive customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least two of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, plus expert-level knowledge of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with customer architects and executive stakeholders and work in production-grade engineering environments.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce platform certifications, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex and orchestration patterns, and expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and specialist AI delivery areas such as data engineering and platform architecture.
