Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internally facing web applications and robust automations for Operations teams across Cards, Loans, and Motor.
- Own engineering work from design through delivery, shipping features used daily by Operations teams.
- Develop full-stack web applications using Python, FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and NextJS.
- Apply strong engineering practices including design patterns, testing, clean code, and code review.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver practical AI and automation solutions.
- Participate in the interview process, including an introductory call, take-home task, technical interview, and cultural/behavioral interview.
Requirements
- Solid experience using Python in a web application context, including experience with a web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong engineering principles and practices, including design patterns, testing, clean code, and effective code review.
- Previous experience working in a product-focused team.
- Strong desire to learn and contribute within a highly collaborative team.
- Interest in experimenting with generative AI and LLMs; hands-on experience is a plus.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude; Domain Driven Design, message-driven systems, event sourcing, AWS, SQL, Argo, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CSS, and Tailwind.
