Responsibilities
- Design and develop lending origination workflows using Camunda 8 and BPMN 2.0.
- Implement service-task integrations using Java-based job workers.
- Build and integrate React-based user interfaces for workflow user tasks.
- Develop and maintain Java backend services and SQL-based systems.
- Deploy enterprise workflow orchestration solutions through GitLab CI/CD pipelines on cloud-native platforms.
- Integrate Camunda processes with enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Deliver clean, scalable, testable code with 100% automated test coverage.
- Analyze business requirements and support process analysis, automation, and transformation initiatives.
- Provide third-line production support and first-line UAT support.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, maintain JIRA updates, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, CIB metrics, and quality requirements.
- Use Claude Code and AI-assisted engineering tools for process modelling, workflow generation, and validation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Camunda BPM Engineer or Developer.
- Strong expertise in Camunda 8 and BPMN 2.0 workflow design.
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, React, and SQL development experience.
- Experience developing and deploying workflow solutions with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices with Camunda processes.
- Ability to deliver scalable, clean, testable enterprise applications and workflow orchestration solutions.
- Experience with automated testing and a commitment to 100% automated test coverage.
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, production environments, and UAT.
- Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, business stakeholders, and clients in an Agile delivery environment.
- Experience with process analysis, automation, transformation initiatives, enterprise architecture, and security standards is required or advantageous as applicable.
- Experience with Claude Code and AI-assisted engineering tools for workflow development is expected.
- Experience in Agile environments and enterprise systems is an advantage.
