Responsibilities
- Build production-grade LLM-powered applications, intelligent agents, orchestration layers, and backend services.
- Develop retrieval pipelines, knowledge indexing, vector database integrations, document ingestion, and embedding workflows.
- Design MCP and tool-integration layers connecting models with APIs, databases, SaaS tools, and internal platforms.
- Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot scalable AI services and infrastructure in production environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable backend code and iterate based on real user feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and data teams to turn concepts into working products.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or ML systems.
- Strong backend engineering experience and proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
- Experience building applications with LLMs, including prompt engineering, structured prompting, tool use, function calling, RAG, and LLM evaluation.
- Experience deploying production systems using Docker, cloud platforms, scalable service architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with vector databases, document ingestion pipelines, embedding workflows, and search and retrieval optimization.
- Strong system design, debugging, production troubleshooting, and software development lifecycle skills.
- Preferred experience includes MCP architectures, agent frameworks, knowledge graphs, streaming or event-driven systems, distributed systems, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Evidence of building and delivery through shipped products, production systems, open-source contributions, or side projects.
