Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components and applications.
- Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, refactoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when designing solutions.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Apply software development processes, methodologies, and technical troubleshooting to build secure and stable systems.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with advanced applied experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
