Responsibilities
- Develop and improve backend systems through greenfield development and enhancements to existing systems.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices for card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto-liquidity systems.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Postgres.
- Develop maintainable business logic using clean-code, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with the team to build financial products supporting financial inclusion and cross-border money movement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- Track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to learn quickly with an ambitious and results-driven approach.
