Base Salary

$100k - $196k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain a cloud management platform for software-defined infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex large-scale technology solutions.
  • Build Golang applications and services that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Integrate applications with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities and infrastructure APIs supporting technology fulfillment and operational excellence.
  • Build, deploy, and support containerized applications on enterprise container platforms.
  • Implement and manage software delivery pipelines using modern CI/CD platforms.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and microservice-based architectures.
  • Establish engineering standards, patterns, and companywide best practices.
  • Collaborate with and influence software engineers on modern development practices and quality programming.
  • Develop generative AI applications using retrieval-augmented generation and/or agentic workflows.
  • Create documentation and contribute to software engineering epics, stories, and tasks for cloud portfolio needs.
  • Travel up to 5% of the time.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • At least 4 years of software development experience architecting, designing, and developing frontend and backend applications using modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing stateful software using relational or non-relational databases.
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing and managing software delivery pipelines with platforms such as GitHub Actions, Harness, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • At least 2 years of experience building, deploying, and supporting containerized applications on platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service, Google Kubernetes Engine, Amazon EKS, or Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and microservice-based architectures.
  • At least 6 months of experience with retrieval-augmented generation and/or agentic workflows in generative AI application development.
  • Preferred experience includes Golang software development and Temporal.io development involving transactions, functions, workflows, and durability.
  • Preferred qualifications include at least 3 years working in an agile environment and knowledge of major cloud service providers and their web service offerings.
  • Preferred qualifications include application and web security knowledge, technology performance analysis, automated testing, tuning, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
