Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure with AWS where applicable, using established platform patterns and standards.
- Write, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules and contribute to a shared module library.
- Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for operating-system configuration and zero-downtime deployments.
- Provision, scale, and support cognitive service environments such as Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock for application teams.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot, patch, harden, and monitor platform components while owning the health of deployed systems.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, operations, and product owners to turn requirements into working code.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Azure experience is required, with AWS experience preferred and GCP experience a plus.
- Solid experience with RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu and comfort managing Windows hosts through automation.
- Strong Terraform knowledge, including data structures, functions, workspaces, and module design.
- Experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, and dynamic inventories; Ansible Automation Platform, AWX, Tower, or Red Hat Satellite experience is a plus.
- Fluency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Boards, and Repos, GitOps practices, branching strategies, code reviews, and lifecycle management.
- Comfort provisioning, scaling, and supporting cloud cognitive services for application teams without designing AI or machine-learning systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems pragmatically, collaborate effectively, and own work through production.
