$190k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design cloud architecture that addresses business requirements while balancing architecture and business margins.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to architect scalable cloud solutions.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based architectures for efficiency, scalability, availability, performance, and security.
- Evaluate and select cloud technologies, platforms, and tools, including Kubernetes.
- Optimize cloud systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for cloud infrastructure health and performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues.
- Build highly scalable and resilient distributed cloud services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role designing and implementing production cloud solutions.
- Extensive API- or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Java or Python and REST API clients.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Experience building highly scalable distributed systems and resilient cloud services.
- Knowledge of networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation and Terraform experience is nice to have.
- Working knowledge of Spring or similar ecosystems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Docker containers is good to have.
- Understanding of Gang of Four design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and initiative-driving abilities.
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
