Responsibilities
- Design and decompose scalable services and APIs.
- Build eventing and queue systems for reliable, high-throughput data flows.
- Lead schema evolution, migrations, query and index optimization, and caching strategies.
- Define consistency models and multi-region readiness.
- Optimize performance budgets, privacy, and tenant isolation.
- Implement reliable and maintainable distributed backend systems for enterprise-scale workloads.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/Node, Postgres, and distributed systems primitives.
- Experience designing scalable services and APIs for high-volume enterprise workloads.
- Experience with schema evolution, migrations, query and index optimization, caching, and consistency models.
- Ability to address performance, privacy, tenant isolation, and multi-region requirements.
- Familiarity with Kotlin, Redis, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform is relevant to the stated technology stack.
