Base Salary

$128k - $193k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement AI/ML-driven cyber solutions for threat detection, vulnerability management, risk prioritization, automation, and decision support.
  • Lead end-to-end architecture, design reviews, implementation, and operational readiness for cyber platforms and tooling.
  • Develop secure, resilient, and performant full-stack cyber applications and services.
  • Architect and deliver cloud-native solutions using AWS and apply AI/ML capabilities, preferably with GCP.
  • Use security, logging, monitoring, and observability platforms to improve threat detection and enterprise application security.
  • Own technical application vulnerability management, including tooling, integrations, automation, prioritization, reporting, and remediation workflows.
  • Embed vulnerability remediation and secure engineering practices into SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and promote secure coding, dependency management, secrets handling, logging, monitoring, and application security standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, design guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and delivery oversight to an offshore engineering team.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement of cyber platforms.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in cyber-focused application development or security engineering, including technical leadership experience.
  • Strong security application development experience across frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks and languages such as Angular, React, or Vue.js, including Content Security Policy and XSS prevention.
  • Experience with Node.js or NestJS and security modules such as Helmet, Jose, and express-validator.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale cyber, security, or application platforms.
  • Experience leading and mentoring distributed or offshore technical teams and working with security events and logs.
  • Expertise in API design, REST or GraphQL, SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud-native development on Azure or AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, Docker, Kubernetes, secure coding, and integration of security, logging, monitoring, and performance tools.
  • Hands-on AWS cloud architecture experience and AI/ML implementation experience, with GCP, Vertex AI, BigQuery, or ML pipelines preferred.
  • Required certifications include one or more application security certifications and cloud security certifications, including AWS Certified Security - Specialty and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Preferred certifications include AI/ML certifications and AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
