Responsibilities
- Own test planning, test design, execution, and automation for Java, .NET Core, Python, and full-stack B2B IAM applications.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman, JMeter, Java, Python, and similar technologies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, performance, smoke, sanity, and post-deployment validation testing.
- Troubleshoot and validate full-stack applications across front-end, back-end, database, API, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Support QA, staging, pre-production, and production-like environments by validating configurations and maintaining environment stability.
- Support security patching, vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, certificate renewals, middleware updates, and patch validation.
- Support release readiness, deployment validation, smoke testing, regression testing, release sign-off, rollback, and post-release validation.
- Contribute to platform stability through monitoring, log analysis, root cause analysis, and defect investigation.
- Perform API and performance testing using Postman, SoapUI, OpenAPI/Swagger, JMeter, LoadRunner, and similar tools.
- Use relational databases and directory services to validate data, write SQL queries, troubleshoot issues, and support IAM workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, QA engineers, security engineers, operations personnel, and system engineers.
- Use source control, code quality, CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps tools to support testing and delivery.
- Create internal tools, scripts, dashboards, test utilities, and automation solutions using Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, maintain test documentation, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience; master’s graduates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes 3 or more years with a bachelor’s degree, or 2 or more years with an advanced degree such as a master’s, MBA, JD, or MD.
- Preferred degree fields include Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience in software quality engineering, test automation, full-stack application testing, release validation, and platform support.
- Proficiency with Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, shell scripting, or similar languages.
- Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, .NET Core, Python, RESTful services, microservices, and relational databases.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, SoapUI, JMeter, LoadRunner, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, Node.js, Bootstrap, Webpack, or jQuery.
- Working knowledge of JBoss Web Server, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat Linux, MS SQL Server, LDAP, Active Directory, and Windows.
- Experience with security patching, vulnerability remediation, release validation, deployment validation, platform stability, monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with SSDLC, cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, application security testing, SonarQube, Checkmarx, FindBugs, Black Duck, Veracode, or Fortify.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, and related CI/CD, DevOps, source control, containerization, or Agile tools.
- Exposure to generative AI, prompt engineering, agentic tools, AI-assisted automation, and emerging coding or testing practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
