Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement test automation strategies, test designs, coding reviews, and quality assurance practices.
- Create and execute manual, automated, end-to-end, exploratory, regression, stress, API, and performance test cases.
- Analyze test data and results, identify discrepancies, defects, database impacts, and usability concerns, and recommend improvements.
- Review software requirements and participate in design reviews to develop comprehensive test scenarios and mitigate issues early.
- Evaluate and maintain testing standards, policies, procedures, methodologies, and metrics.
- Collaborate across IT teams, research new technologies, mentor less experienced staff, and resolve elevated issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software quality assurance experience with automation and manual testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a Master’s degree or diploma in Computer Science.
- Required experience with Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured and performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of Java, Angular, Node.js, automation, Cucumber, Cypress, AWS, SQL queries, Python or another scripting language, and related testing and development tools.
- Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail for bug tracking and with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD integration.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.
