Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver, TestCafe, and Java.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story discussions to define test scenarios.
- Design automated test cases from functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
- Enhance automation frameworks and optimize test suites.
- Support CI/CD pipelines through automated testing.
- Review test scripts and participate in peer reviews.
- Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports.
- Communicate updates and resolutions to customers and other partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestCafe, Java, TypeScript, and Q-test.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and defect lifecycles.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and version control systems such as Git.
- Analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in software testing with an interest in test automation.
- Preferred: exposure to TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, REST APIs, API testing, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Preferred: familiarity with Agile/Scrum, industrial automation, cloud technologies, or enterprise software products.
