Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, risk assessments, and testing procedures for complex features, systems, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, and backend services.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish quality standards, metrics, best practices, and continuous process improvements.
- Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with engineering on long-term defect fixes.
- Partner with developers and product owners on early issue detection, acceptance criteria, and user experience quality.
- Mentor junior SQA analysts and communicate test progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 6–9+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, SoapUI, or REST-Assured.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and data validation techniques.
- Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
- Preferred certifications include ISTQB, Certified Software Quality Analyst, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps or cloud certifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, documentation, and mentoring skills.
